Each bride and her situation are different. Each has no where else to turn so they become mail order brides. The men the marry are kind, caring, ambitious and lonely. It seemed one of the brides hadn't made such a good deal, she had 5 children and he wasn't prepared. Another bride was a widow who was pregnant with her deceased husband's baby. She didn't tell the groom until just minutes before the wedding. All of the books are true page turners. I would highly recommend them.
The story lines were great. I didn't like the number of spelling and grammatical errors. Also certain things would change from one part of the story to the other such as hair color.
I purchased this set a while ago and just read them. All of the stories were well written with strong characters, good plots, appropriate highs and lows.
Very good book series
I have read just 2 books in this box set by this author. With no money and the chance, she will lose her parents inheritance her future is looking bleak for the next few months.Bent had already lost the love of his life but he was lonely on his ranch by himself and will not possible prospects in town his only choice is to apply for a Mail Order Bride. He knew he could give a wife a good life but would he be able to give you his love?Holly - Mail Order Bride: Holly (Orphan Brides Go West Book 4) *****I read this very loving book on a very wet and raining day to which it had me totally entertained for most of the day. My heart was full of love and hope when I finished and had that warm feeling you I get sometimes after finished a great book. This is book 4 of the series but book one for me so even though this is a series they are all send-alone books. I have only just lately started to read Vivi Holt books after having some sitting on my kindle for a while, I must say I am enjoyed her style of writing and the stories she tells us through her characters. This was a sweet western historical romance read with an older more matured female character seeking a new life for herself and her 5 children. I received an ARC copy of this book in which I have decided to give my voluntary and honest review of. A wonderful journey of finding love and home again.
4.8*'Mail Order Bride: Orphan Brides Go West: The Complete Series' is very enjoyable to read with good characters and a good story-line.
These four books are stories of girls who are alone in the word trying to make it the best they can. Their opinions seem few but they are strong and finally find what they need, a family.
Each story in this set was very different i LOVED each of them and I want more Thanks and keep up the great work
