Great Librettos with excellent English translation. Reading prior to attending the opera allowed me to once again immerse into the performance and enjoy an outstanding Opera production.

I bought this book as a preview of the Don Giovanni opera my niece and I were planning to attend. It prepared us to enjoy the opera (sung in Italian) without wondering about the story line.

beautiful book. It was part of Dad's request for his birthday - "opera librettos".

Don Giovanni is a simply wonderful opera, but for this single-language speaking gal I was at a loss for understanding. I looked high and low for a good translation, finally deciding on this which has side-by-side readings of the opera in itallian and english.It's easy to read. It has a good introduction and great footnotes that give you a little extra information to take with you as you read. Unlike other companions, it includes every word spoken, so you don't get lost when they repeat themselves!There's really not much to say about it -- simple, straightfoward, and worth the money.

Being able to read the Italian and listen to the singers at the same time really helped. I used it many times before going to a live performance.

Good side by side to accompany a score reading, I also found it very helpful for getting fuller comprehension of what my fellow actors are saying without doing a full score translation

I am learning Italian. A good opportunity to read the libretto with the English translation. Otherwise a perfect edition. I love it!!

This is one of the most clear and down to earth books on biblical last day signs that I have read so far. The book is so informative with facts and bible references, that it leaves you with a sense of, yep how true! and not a sense of, uh maybe. It even sealed for me my ministry outside of church. I have been praying to the Lord to show me how I could reach out to others and share the word. Purchasing bibles and leaving them where people can easily get them is perfect for me. I am not so good with the one on one approach, so this is perfect for me. Thank you Michael Sawdy. May the Lord continue to bless you in your ministry. He is using you mightily. Don’t ever stop, because Jesus is really truly about to appear!!!

I bought Michael's book shortly after it was released. I'm just now close to finishing reading it due to a busy summer schedule. What an interesting, riveting, awesome book! I have the complete series from Illinois to California and some selected towns like where I live, Kingman AZ. Actually living on old Route 66 makes the series come alive and I've explored many places found in the books and photo documented them. They are a good read and the photos are good quality. I highly recommend the entire set if you are at all interested in the Mother Road.

This book tells about the interesting history of Route 66 through Texas. Some of the interesting information that the book mentions is as follows: Route 66 goes through Texas a distance of 178 miles through seven counties. The town of Amarillo was actually founded twice. In 1887, James Berry laid out the town of Oneida which took the name of the nearby creek surrounded by yellow. In the Spanish language, Amarillo means yellow. In June 1888, Henry B. Sanborn began buying up land on higher ground a mile East of the town. An 1889 flood convinced Amarillo residents to move to Henry Sanborn's addition. At one time, there were three Holiday Inns in Amarillo, less than 1 1/2 miles apart on Route 66. Groom was a railroad stop laid out in 1902. It was named for cattleman Col. B.B. Groom. The town Groom thrived on Route 66 until Interstate 40 opened on June 2, 1980. The Ranch House Café in Groom had no cash register and no prices on the menu. The Ranch House only had a sign asking diners to pay what they can.

I had no idea that the short route of Highway 66 through Texas has so much! All these books are great.
