I listened to the CD driving to and from work and every time I was in the car. She is an excellent speaker, the stories hit home so often, I often times wondered if this woman secretly peered into my life. The lessons are just long enough for me to make it through one and begin the next before arriving at work.This CD will set your soul on fire but most of all will provide you a deeper knowledge of God and how much he loves us. He is not a faceless figure sitting on a throne high in the sky disconnected from us as some might have us think. God is right here with us, experiencing our pain, our joy and most of all he longs for us to share those moments with him. I truly was blessed by this CD.Thanks to Priscilla for her obedience to God.

Priscilla Shirer inspires me to believe that I can stand up to my problems as a believer and through prayer and scripture "fight the good fight". I love that these lessons are only 10 minutes long, but believe me they are packed with plenty of 'meat'. I know I can listen to them over and over and still learn something new each time. I have plenty of devotional books but this is my new favorite, because you can put on your makeup, fix breakfast, or drink that cup of coffee while you listen.

Amazing! Simply amazing. I love Priscilla Shirer's way with words. She conveys the word of God with such passion and in a simplicity where people of all ages are able to understand and interpret the message. I've listened to this CD for several days and I love being able to spend time with God on the way to and from work when I'm in the car. My church participated in her Gideon's bible study earlier this year and that was when I knew I had to hear more of her teachings. She was also awesome in War Room as well. I'm going to purchase more of these cds as gifts so that others can benefit from gearing the word of God from this amazing teacher.

I'm sure others have this problem as well, but I'm not always the happiest to be going to work in the morning. I often wake up way too late, just enough time to throw on some clothes, grab a granola bar, and rush out the door. I have about a 30 min. drive to work. This cd has helped so much. I would love to wake up early to get some good scripture reading done in the morning before heading off, but I have not conquered that discipline yet. Consequently, these devotions have helped me a lot to get in the right mindset before facing the day and difficult people. I'd highly reccomend these, as well as Shirer's other full study books.

Every devotional is meaningful and entertaining, yet insightful, to hear. I have replayed the two CD'S numerous times and still love hearing every devotional. Priscilla has such a great gift of speaking! I wish that the CD'S never ended!

I love the teachings of Priscilla Shirer because she allows God to completely use her gifts from Him for Him & His glory! She's inspiring me, & others, with her own life experiences, both good & bad, to live for God NOT ourselves!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend her devotional!!! I listen as I do dishes & work around the house but these can be put onto your computer & downloaded onto an MP3 player to use while walking or exercising (that's my next step😊).

I had no idea what a nation was beyond a vague idea, this book explains it, its relation to other states, how they all get along, (peace and embassies) or don't (war), and it's all in very clear language that anyone can read. The bonus essays are not necessary, but the do illustrate how Enlightenment thinking like this resulted in all of the limited "cabinet wars" of an earlier era.

I'll put it simply. This book is essential reading in order to have an appreciation of the thinking of the founders and framers of the US Constitution. Chapter 19 makes very clear the meaning of "natural born citizen", a term which has been woefully misunderstood and misrepresented. In addition, the book contains excellent descriptions of what it meant to be a citizen of a country, an idea that probably very few think about today. An important read for anyone who wishes to learn more about the thinking of the "Enlightenment".

This book provides a great deal of information for any history buff , highly recommend it

If Vattel's "The Law of Nations" is one of the significant sources for the original writers of the U.S. Constitution, the US has moved a long. long way from that source... "Book I, Chapter 19". I assert most readers will be surprised; some will be disturbed; many will be angry; all will be somewhat bewildered... and shaken. Be prepared: the book is over 800 pages including the index.

Although international law is a difficult concept in itself, Vattel makes its most important points clear and immediate. If you read no other work in this field, read this. Out of print for many years, the classic commendably reappears. Well done.

This is a wonderful legal history, but pretty dry reading.

Have not read all of it but is good.

The value of knowledge in it is worth more than the book costs.

My 9 year old son is obsessed with all things Titanic. This is a great book, well written, and with great photos. It is a large book filled with photos and information we hadn't seen before. We are happy with this purchase.

I bought this for a student of mine who loves learning about WWII. He is on the autistic spectrum and the combination of visuals with condensed bits of information is just perfect. He is happy, so I am happy.

This was disappointing. This is not for adult reading. This is suitable for school age children.

I picked this book with the other books in this series out as a birthday gift for my grandson. He has become very interested in history. He also has expressed interest in the military and American Wars. My wife is a retired school teacher and stated that she was familiar with this book series. She stated that it was an excellent book for a youth learning experience. But the next important thing is he was beyond excited when realized what it was.

This was a gift for a family member. I did not read it myself.

Great book full of information on WW2.

My son is a collector of WW II items and was happy to have this.

I purchased this for my 8 year old grandson, who has a huge interest in WWII. I was totally unprepared for his response, which was "This is the best present I ever got". Big praise from a child who has everything. He was totally engrossed in the book for hours. I think he will continue to enjoy this book for the next few years. I was surprised at how much he already knows about this subject, and how he related to the material.
