While it is a short volume it does provide a very good basic introduction to C. Having been a COBOL programmer in the past, and currently working with proprietary languages I had a good background to begin with. However I think if someone is looking to just get their feet wet this would be a good place to start. And the price on Kindle can't be beat.

I have researched different religions for years, and believe as Gandhi did that we can achieve connection with God by following any of the major great ones; and I believe many of the smaller ones too, created around the personal experiences of saintly people. I have even created a spiritual quest game using quotations from these religions, philosophers and holy folk. I love the idea of the interfaith "Cooperation Circles" that are all over the world caring for her, and helping others. I loved Bishop Swing's humor and writing style as well.

I am full of respectful awe in all Bishop William E. Swing with his wife Mary Taylor Swing accomplished and all they hope to accomplish with the United Religions as it evolves from the United Religions Initiative into the UR. I was not prepared for the magnitude of their vision and the ways they and their fellow travelers on this journey implemented the shared vision of world peace. They have broken fresh ground and seeded a future harvest.
